  1. Where there’s a will there’s a way, when I wanted to use bands for training
I went and bought bicycle tubes because I didn’t know where to get them and
I trained with my friend in his damn laundry room. We both are multi time
state champions and competed at the world class level successfully. You
just need a little ingenuity and some trial and error. You can do all you
    need with very little equipment.

Great video. I’d love to see more like this. I’m not a powerlifter (though
I do similar training), but I enjoyed listening to the guys. It does make
me want to look into doing a meet more. 🙂

  3. Hopefully by around this time next year. You can stay posted by joining the
    Behind the Iron Facbeook page.

  4. This is actually the full video for this documentary. We’re hoping to make
another one potentially following lifters, hopefully including myself,
leading into a meet sometime within the next few months.

  5. Great video Brian…I going to be in Casselberry in two weeks from now
visiting family and I hope to visit your gym to train and gain knowledge.
Thanks for all you done for powerlifting!!!

Great short documentary Brian! I definitely miss going to your gym. I’ll
probably join OBB again when my hip injury is better.

  7. That’s great man. If you’re on Facebook you should like the Behind the Iron
page and sign up to win the fan of the week with your story.

  8. Hello, I am 10 seconds in and I don’t know if I will be able to finish this
tonight; but I thank you for making a documentary.

  9. This guy barely shook for one and also that’s no reason to call a lift no
good. His CNS was probably fried already anyways

  10. He’s not saying the shaking is why it was no lift it’s because it wasn’t
constantly going up the whole time , like it went down some according to
the judge. I think it was a good lift though

    I love how hyped the Prisoners are, it’s like a great family or something;
    it’s great. GREAT lifters.

its true 75% of it is mental…truthfully these guys are smarter than most
    people in general with powerlifting

  13. No, he would not lose 40% of his numbers. He would loose a lot more from
his oly lifts than his strength lifts, though.

  14. Now right there fellas is called lifting…Fucking shit there are some big
    mutha fuckers in prison!!!!
