  1. I’m not entirely sure what you mean, all the lifts shown in this video are
    most definitely lifts that weightlifters do in training to increase their
    total. (pulls, squats, pause squats, pulls from blocks etc.) If you’re
    talking about maxing out on the lifts however, for some, maxing out is just
    as an essential part of training as is anything else.

  2. also, more specific lifts such as pause squats and pulls from blocks are
    just for individual athletes to help with their weakest points in the lifts.

  3. These are specific lifts achieved in training, it doesn’t show how these
    lifters trained to get to those levels. You are assuming they train like
    these videos show all the time. That’s not the case. Individual sports take
    time, patience, precision and speed, and a lot of mundane training which
    does not resemble what these videos are showing.
