    Oly lifters must have very strong knee joints as a prerequisite. I just
    don’t see the avg person’s knees lasting long squatting like that. All that
    dive bombing, bouncing and knee caving doesn’t seem to hurt them at all.
    And it’s not like the avg person has the flexibility to do it either, even
    with heel elevation.

  8. There seems to be more trunk lean forward (10-30 degrees) than
    what i read was supposed to be used in the high bar squat.
    Is this accurate ?

  9. Great video. If only more women understood how heavy squats tone their butt
    and legs so much more effectively than all these damn home workout crazes.
    All of the female lifters ive seen at CaliforniaStrength have fantastic
    muscle tone.

    Olympic lifters dont squat to get better at squatting but to get better at
    snatches and cleans

    these guys are bouncing off their calves… at least powerlifters stopmand
    start the weight
