Arnold dumbbells press: shoulders & triceps workout

This exercise targets: shoulders, triceps For this exercise, you will need: two dumbbells and an exercise ball or a bench Sit on an exercise ball with your back straight, in a steady position. Hold your dumbbells with the palms facing your upper chest. Make sure your elbows are flexible. Raise the dumbbells above your head. Rotate your arms while you are lifting the dumbbells, so your palms face outward when your arms are in the upright position. Slowly return to the starting position. Tips: Focus on proper technique, and not the amount of weight you are lifting. While performing this exercise, do not lean forward and do not swing backwards. Use weights suitable for your physical strength. If you are using heavy weights, perform a lower number of repetitions. Alternative: Perform this exercise while standing, but do not swing backwards. Exhale when pushing the weight above your head. Inhale as you return to the starting position. Beginners: 10 repetitions Intermediate level: 15 repetitions Advanced level: 20 repetitions

  1. wrong .. she should do a semicircle when she goes up ..then again semicircle to starting position. It works much much better than how she does it :D

  2. and i never said its only 1 way to work shoulders coz there are alot of exercises.. but correct its how i said .. if you dont believe me you can try 15 reps low weight in the way vid said .. and 15 rep low weight in the way i did and u’ll see that i’ts a huge difference

  4. how is this wrong? your statement is presupposing there is only one way to work these muscles. that’s like saying i should only do certain poses in yoga where there are thousands of variations. the body needs full range of motion and in many different ways. besides her physique tells me otherwise. results, moderation and good technique is important. this channel has been nothing but helpful.

  5. forgive me. i understand now. and yoga’s literal translation is union of mind and body. body building is the same way truthfully. you need your mind to focus (proper form) and then with your body will follow. and if you have ever met someone who body builds, does running or anything they are passionate about i can assure you they find it spiritual. you get to define what that is. the vids are for both genders. everyone has shoulders, right? best of luck to you.

  7. i’m lost … this suposed to be for girls or for both sides? coz i dont get it lol. Btw bodybuilding its not fucking yoga !! Whoever practice bodybuilding want better muscles..tone for girls.. they dont focus on “spiritual” shit (yoga)
